About Dossi

Ashley Minor, affectionately known as Dossi, is a recording artist, singer, songwriter, and vocalist from Cleveland, Ohio. She sang background vocals for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame soul group, The O’Jays from 2015 to 2020. During her five-year tenure Dossi participated in numerous concerts, tours, album recordings, commercials, and television appearances. She has shared the stage with virtually every well-known artist in R&B spanning from the legendary icons Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, and The Isley Brothers, to present-day headliners such as Brandy, Jennifer Hudson, and Fantasia. Across the United States from New York to Los Angeles, Las Vegas to Atlanta, Seattle to Washington D.C., Houston to Miami, and Philadelphia to Denver, audiences have experienced the melodic sounds of Dossi live and in person. She has also graced international stages, performing in Paris, Amsterdam, England, Canada, and across the Caribbean. 

As an accomplished live and studio recording artist, Dossi is set to release her first single in 2022 titled “Falling In Love”. It is a heart-stirring ballad where she delves into all the experiences and emotions one feels when falling in love with another soul. In addition to her single, she continues to produce music monthly through her YouTube Channel, “Dossi Sings”. There, alongside her husband and daughter, she covers popular music of all genres with innovative twists and arrangements. Between her original music and the cover tunes, she is an active songwriter, where she puts the real-life experiences of her heart and soul into moving melodies with memorable choruses and eloquent verses. Expect more single releases from Dossi for the rest of 2022 and many more in years to come.

Dossi is happily married to Earl Minor Jr., an accomplished keyboardist who doubles as her producer. Together they have one child, Eden Minor, an emerging young musical prodigy, and are residents of Cleveland, Ohio. The Minors are an unstoppable force in the music industry who remain true to their roots and who they are as individuals and as a couple. Dossi modestly summarizes her illustrious musical career, “I authentically love music, and I am unapologetically me.”
